Ed Tilford

Ed Tilford has over 30 years of experience in software, working in a variety of industries, including defense, telecommunications, education, finance, media, and transportation.

Ed’s passion for creating innovative solutions and driving organizational change has led him to become a leader in the field of Agile methodology. He started his agile journey as a member of an eXtreme Programming delivery team in 2002 and, since that time, has been instrumental in leading large-scale Agile transformations for several organizations, such as Thomson Reuters. Since 2019, Ed has been providing consultation services on Agile and Lean product and transformation strategies, focusing on Dojos and creating a culture of immersive learning.

One of Ed’s proudest achievements is the development of the award-winning educational immersive learning product, SimProject, which won the 2012 PMI Educational Product of the Year. When not coaching organizations and teams, Ed can be found spending time with his family in the outdoors, preferably fly fishing.
